offers two spacious apartments in our red house
with its turf roof, located in quiet, rural
surroundings just 20km (12miles) north of central
Bergen and 40km (25 miles) from Flesland Airport.
Your friendly hosts enjoy meeting people and
pampering their guests, and a shopping mall is just
a short drive away.

Grounds
Cats and free-ranging chickens roam the grounds,
and the family farm cultivates organic vegetables,
so groceries and home-grown vegetables can be
provided on request.

Boating
This idyllic beauty spot lies in the midst of a
nature area, near the sea. A swimming beach,
fishing spots, and a marina are all close by, and
mooring is available on a private quay.

Romance
You'll enjoy a magnificent, panoramic view over
the fjord with its surrounding mountains. You can
relax, enjoy the view and eat breakfast in our
fjordside backyard enclosed by hedges and
surrounded by trees.
A lot to see and do
There are several tourist attractions nearby,
and we offer guided tours of this stunning area by
car - or you can rent a small boat and row across
the waters of the vast fjord. And there are hiking
trails in the area like the old postal trail

Your hosts
Your hosts Rita and Jarle are your Fjordside
hosts. Fjordside is such a nice place in the summer
that we prefer to stay at home. We love gardening,
fishing and hiking. We also love to make good food
and wine from ingredients found in the wild and
from the sea - or grown in our greenhouse, garden -
and the chicken coop! We love to have guests, and
we enjoy showing them the area or just sitting
together around the barbecue.
